Han Ji-hye (born June 29, 1984) is a South Korean actress and model. She made her debut in 2001 in dramas before taking up a lead role in Sweet 18. Born Lee Ji-hye, she used the stagename “Han Ji-hye” upon learning that her real name would cause confusion among fans with an older actress, Lena Lee, who has the same Korean name as Han.

Together with Song Seung-hun and Son Ye-jin, Han is noted for her role in the well-known KBS drama Summer Scent.

There has been speculation among fans that Han is Lee Dong-Gun’s girlfriend, mostly based on the fact that they are frequently seen together in publicity photographs. Both of them vehemently deny this alleged relationship, but the couple was later confirmed when they announced it individually on their websites.

Song Hye Kyo (born February 26, 1982) is a South Korean model and actress. Song made her debut by winning the Grand Prize in model search in SunKyung Smart and starring in a Sunday morning drama called Happy Morning (KBS, 1996). She starred in number of hit dramas including All In, Autumn Fairy Tale, and Full House. Due to her popularity she can be seen frequently on advertisements when she is not acting. She is currently signed to Eden 9 talent agency.

Song debuted in the entertainment industry when she won the Grand Prize in SunKyung Smart, a school uniform company in 1996 when she was finishing her third year in junior high school. It was not long until she starred in her first drama, Happy Morning. Since then, she would continued to star in a string of various dramas and sitcoms but it wasn’t until the KBS drama Autumn Fairy Tale in 2000 with Song Seung-hun and Won Bin that Song rose to fame throughout Asia. The show quickly became popular as it depicted a tragic love story between three people.

Song’s popularity continued to climb when she played a leading role in the poker drama All In, alongside Lee Byung-Hun. The drama was so popular that the title of the show itself entered everyday vocabulary in Korea.

Song then played as a supporting role in the drama Sunlight Pours Down, and later in the popular TV comedy series Full House, in which she co-starred with pop figure Rain. Full House became one of the highest rating drama during its year. After the successful Full House, Song starred in the movie, My Girl And I, which was critically panned by audience and critics alike. Song went on a 2-year hiatus afterward, returning to acting to star in her second film, the movie-version of Hwang Jin-i, which was released in South Korea on June 6, 2007, as the kisaeng Hwang Jin-i. Though promoted heavily, it fared poorly at the box office.

She is planning to release a video album, produced by StarM Planning entertainment company because she has been pursuing her dream of becoming a “hallyu queen” in Japan. However, while the shooting is already completed, the release date is still unconfirmed. She also became known in computer graphics circles when Indonesian 3D artist Max Edwin Wahyudi created a remarkable quality 3D picture of her. Not only does she act, she models for several big name clothing companies such as Levi, Laneige, etc. In late 2008, Song starred in KBS2 Miniseries The World They Live In, together with fellow Korean actor Hyun Bin. At the 2008 Cannes Festival, Director John Woo announced Song will be starring in his next work 1949, joining Taiwanese actor Chang Chen. 1949 started filming at the end of 2008 and aims to release sometime in 2010.

Lee Yeon-hee (born January 9, 1988) is a South Korean actress and model under record label and talent agency, SM Entertainment. She made her first appearance in Moon Heejun’s music video, “ALONE” in 2001 and officially debuted in the Korean television drama, Sea God as young Junghwa in 2004.

Early life

Lee was born in the Bundang district of Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. In the summer of 2001, thirteen-year-old Lee successfully signed a contract with SM Entertainment after she won the category of “Best Feature” in the SM Entertainment Best Youth contest. For the contest, she acted out a monologue, singing to Dana The Grace’s “Until the End of the World”, and also did freestyle modeling poses. After she joined the company, she began intense training lessons on acting, singing, and dancing.

Soon after she joined SM Entertainment she began to star in music videos for SM artists, such as those for Moon Heejun, Kangta, Shinhwa, and Fly to the Sky, achieving over SM artist Kim Bomi (of M.I.L.K.) as “The SM music video girl”. In the span of one year, she already starred in eight music videos versus Bomi’s five in two years. Though Lee had relatively steady work between modeling in magazines, commercial ads, and appearing in music videos, she did not officially debut until late 2004. In November, she had a role in the popular historical drama Sea God. A few months later, she landed a role in the latter episodes of the daily drama My Precious Child. A role in Rebirth brought the number of dramas under her belt to three. Lee kept busy throughout the rest of 2005 by filming many commercials and modeling for various magazines.

Lee’s big break came in the form of the movie Millionaire’s First Love playing the lead opposite popular actor Hyun Bin. Lee resolves to “act as hard as she can with all that she’s learned” for her movie debut. Through the movie, she also makes her singing debut, singing “Do Re Mi” from The Sound of Music in the movie and “Insa” on the original sound track.

Lee’s name as “music video girl” became more apparent after labelmate Zhang Liyin’s 2006 “Timeless” music video, where she starred alongside Super Junior’s Han Geng and Choi Siwon. Two years later, the trio reunited for Zhang’s “I WILL” and “The Left Shore of Happiness”, which were released in early 2008 in China and weeks later, Korea. Together, netizens commonly termed the trio as “The Timeless Cast”.

In 2007, soon after the debut of labelmates Girls’ Generation, she revealed that if she had not decided to continue her career as an actress, she would become a member of Girls’ Generation as they have trained together when they were still trainees.
